Last week, a homeowner was hearing noises in their attic and called us to investigate. The homeowners were in the process of closing on the home, so resolving the issue was critical. We initially attempted to evict the fluid, but it was unsuccessful, so we proceeded with trapping the female raccoon.

The juveniles were located in a difficult-to-reach area. To minimize unnecessary damage, we used a thermal camera to accurately locate the nest. We then removed the nearest soffit vent and used an inspection scope to confirm the raccoons’ exact position. The homeowner was very understanding and approved of making a small access point through the soffit. We carefully created a small opening a few inches away to avoid harming them.

We initially located and removed three juvenile raccoons. However, the customer reported continued noise the following day. I conducted a follow-up inspection in the attic and found one remaining juvenile that had moved farther away. We safely retrieved it and reunited all of them.

The animals were then transported to a licensed wildlife rehabilitation center through a trusted contact. After removal, we completed the soffit repair and painting.
