How We Do Humane Bat Removal

We identify all current and potential access points. The eaves of the roof are some of the most common bat entry points. Other potential entry points are gable vents and soffits. Our inspector will determine the appropriate number of bat valves to use, but most bat jobs require only one bat valve.

Once the bat valve is installed, all other bat entry points will be sealed. The bats evict themselves harmlessly. The bat removal process typically takes 3-7 days. Our specialist will perform a final inspection of the attic before removing the valve. After removing the valve, the final entry point will be sealed, leaving your home bat-free.

We had bats living in our roof tiles, causing additional insects in the house. Our previous pest control service thought it was water, didn’t realize it was bats. Heard a critter in the attic, called Critter Control, and Dave came out the same day. After a recent roof replacement, we assumed attic space would be sealed off. Dave identified plenty of spaces where rodents may enter, and sealed them off properly. He then set rat traps in the attic and checked on them every other day for 2 weeks.
