Pigeons (Rock Doves)

The Pigeon is a stout seed or fruit-eating bird with a small head, short legs, and a cooing voice, typically having gray and white plumage. Pigeons have a restricted natural resident range in western and southern Europe, North Africa and into southwest Asia. Its habitat is natural cliffs, usually on coasts. Its domesticated form is the Feral Pigeon. Pigeon droppings deface and accelerate the deterioration of buildings and increase the cost of maintenance.
