Critter Control CEO Kevin Clark presenting a ‘25 Year Anniversary’ award
to Critter Control’s VP of Marketing, Vanetta ‘Happi’ Truan
Critter Control recognizes the twenty-five year anniversaries of Mike Dwyer, Vanetta ‘Happi’ Truan and Danielle Flowers at its March 1st annual meeting in Traverse City, MI. Mike Dwyer, Critter Control’s Chief Networking Officer, originally operated Critter Control of Columbus before joining the corporate team. Happi Truan joined the corporate team in 1986 and is now the company’s Vice President of Marketing, and Danielle Flowers was the company’s first ever franchisee. Danielle started as a Branch Manager in Cleveland, OH in 1986.
It all began 29 years ago when Detroit metropolitan based chimney sweep Kevin Clark received a call to remove a raccoon from a chimney. The caller said they had phoned all over town to everyone they could think of to help solve their problem, but nobody dealt with marauding wildlife. Seizing the opportunity, Clarks’ Critter Control was born. In 1987 Critter Control, Inc was incorporated and began franchising the concept. Today, Critter Control is North America’s largest wildlife pest control firm, with over 130 offices coast-to-coast.
