    How To Identify Bobcat Problems

    Bobcat Description
Bobcats are tan in color, with dark spots on their coat. They have a short bobbed tail with a black tip. Males are generally larger than females, weighing 15-35 pounds, 18-24 inches tall and 24-48 inches long. In the wild, bobcats will live 10-13 years. Bobcats are generally seen alone, but groups may consist of mating pairs, siblings, or mothers with kittens. Bobcats are most active around sunset and sunrise.

    Bobcat Habitats
Bobcats are spread widely throughout North America. Their habitat includes coniferous and mixed forest, swamp areas, desert, and scrubland. Bobcats are solitary and territorial animals. Individual Bobcats will defend an area of up to 12 square miles. Bobcats will den in brush piles, under rocks and in caves.

    Bobcat Entry
Bobcats are not known to invade or attempt entry to homes. However, Bobcats may be attracted to a yard that has abundant wildlife, domestic birds, small pets, water, and shade or other shelter. Bobcats are excellent hunters with stealth and patience. Bobcats pose a serious threat to pets and live stock. If you have heard or seen signs of bobcats near your home or business you should immediately call a critter control bobcat expert.
